We are currently looking for a MIG Welder for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.
Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)
Rate of pay is £18.00 per hour for basic hours
Candidates must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Must be proficient in MIG welding using 1.2 wire; experience in medium to heavy MIG welding, FCAW welding and qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 287 would be preferred.
Ideal Experience:
* Experience within a fabrication environment.
* Experience in both light and heavy MIG welding
* Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent
* Coded to a recognised standard
* MMA/FCAW
* Ultrasonic work
* The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
* Overhead crane operating experience.
* A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping.
