We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor looking for a long-term role overseeing electrical works across a variety of sites. Projects are primarily located across Essex and East London, with the furthest sites currently within Barking & Dagenham.
The Role
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee day-to-day electrical activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You will split your time between multiple projects, supporting site teams and ensuring compliance with current regulations and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors on site
* Ensuring works comply with current regulations and safety standards
* Coordinating daily site activities and progress
* Carrying out quality checks and inspections
* Supporting project delivery and programme deadlines
* Liaising with project management and site stakeholders
* Monitoring health & safety compliance across sites
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician
* Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 regulations
* ECS Gold Card
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 desirable)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
