We are looking for a Toolmaker for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Rate of pay up to £24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
This will be working Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday 8am to 3:30pm and Friday 8am to 12pm.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The role is ideal for an experienced Toolmaker coming from a dedicated manufacturing background. Core day-to-day duties listed for this vacancy include:
* Operating and setting both CNC and manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
* Designing and making new production tools, moulds, and specialized components.
* Performing routine maintenance and conducting quality inspections on active production tooling.
* Troubleshooting tooling failures to drastically minimize factory downtime and improve general production efficiency
