Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for TIG Welders for permanent positions based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)

Salary is £36,513.74 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

This will be working at 2 shift rotation morning shift Monday to Thursday - 6am -2pm & 6am -11am on Friday, Afternoon shift Monday to Thursday 2pm -10pm & Friday 11am - 4pm.

This position does have the possibility to go on to a 3 shift rotation Days, Afternoons and Nights.

Previous experience working on fine gauge stainless steel and be able to weld 0.8mm to 1.2mm thickness

Duties will include:

* TIG welding stainless steel and other metals.
* Producing high-quality, neat and consistent welds.
* Reading and working from engineering drawings.
* Preparing materials and components for welding.
* Setting up and operating TIG welding equipment.
* Checking finished work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
* Carrying out general fabrication duties where required.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Working to production schedules and meeting required deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience working as a TIG Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Previous experience working on fine gauge stainless steel and be able to weld 0.8mm to 1.2mm thickness
* Strong TIG welding experience, particularly on stainless steel.
* The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A reliable and professional approach to work.
