We are looking to a Technical Engineering Manager for a permanent position based with our client in County Durham.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary is £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Tasks:
* Line responsibility for workshop personnel
* Line responsibility for workshop, production planning, materials management, dispatch, maintenance and facilities management.
* Effective and efficient utilization of operational resource to carry out site work, repairs and projects
* Execution of customer orders to time, cost and quality
* Liaise with customers regarding engineering and projects work
* Prepare customer quotations for service and repair work
* Achievement of stock plans and for ordering engineering and project materials
* Scheduling of service, repair and project assembly and test work to meet customer requirements
* Achievement of work schedules to meet customer requirements
* Monitoring and control of labour hours and costs
* Preparation of projects, repair and service invoices
* Training of apprentices and new recruits
* Developing competency and capability of workshop team
* Facilities management
* Responsibility for compliance and promotion of all aspects of Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Promote company values and reputation with all customers
* Debriefing meetings and regular customer care visits to ensure customer satisfaction
Must be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Auto Cad but training can be provided
