Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are looking for a Semi Skilled Worker with an in date FLT Counter Balance licence for 4 months work in the York area for an immediate start.
Rate of pay is £18.00 per hour for basic hours.
Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheels certification would be advantageous and experience within an engineering environment is essential.
Some of the key responsibilities will be:
* Operating Fork Lift Trucks safely for loading, unloading and transporting materials.
* Preparing components using abrasive equipment including grinders, sanders and finishing tools.
* Assist with deburring, fettling and finishing manufactured components.
* Safely use a range of power tools including drills, grinders, sanders, saws and other handheld equipment.
* Assist CNC operators and fabricators with loading materials and preparing work.
* Carry out basic machine operation where trained.
* Assist with lifting, moving and positioning large fabrications using appropriate lifting equipment.
* Support stock movement and material control throughout the factory.
* Assist with goods inwards and goods outwards activities.
* Support installation preparation and packing of completed projects.
