We are looking for a Sales Manager for a permanent position based with our client in Leeds.
Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)
Salary is £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
UK and International travel maybe required.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to grow downflow booth sales across targeted regions and sectors.
* Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential clients.
* Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
* Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with engineers, procurement teams, production managers, and senior decision-makers.
* Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
* Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client processes, containment challenges, and regulatory needs.
Technical & Product Expertise
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of downflow booths, airflow principles, filtration technologies, and relevant industry standards.
* Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to prepare accurate specifications, quotations, and bespoke solutions.
* Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements.
Collaboration & Reporting
* Work closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, product collateral, and digital outreach.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within containment equipment, HVAC systems, cleanroom technology, or industrial engineered solutions.
* Strong understanding of controlled environments, operator protection systems, and airflow/filtration concepts.
* Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
* Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, both domestically and internationally.
