
We are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor/Project Manager to oversee several exciting projects within the mechanical systems sector. As part of this role, you will be required to travel between various project sites on a regular basis. A company van and fuel card will be provided for site travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing mechanical plant upgrades and new installations, including heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
* Managing mechanical works on a variety of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
* Leading on-site teams and coordinating resources to meet project deadlines.
* Ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including NHS-specific guidelines for live environments.
* Managing site logistics, including coordination between multiple projects.
Project Overview:
* Mechanical upgrades in healthcare settings: Experience working in live environments, especially within NHS settings, is essential.
* New build developments: Involvement in first and second fix installations, including gas-fired boilers and other mechanical systems.
* Sustainable and energy-efficient systems: Installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and pre-insulated cylinders for new build developments.
Candidate Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating, and ventilation.
* Proven experience in managing projects in live environments, particularly within healthcare settings (NHS experience is critical).
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
* JIB Card and SSSTS/SMSTS certification are mandatory.
Salary and Package:
* Salary: £55-60k (depending on experience).
* Standard company package applies, including a company van and fuel card for travel between sites.
