Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters for permanent positions in Newark for immediate starts.

Salary is circa £49,000 per annum and will be working on a 4 on, 4 off, shift rotation (Days and nights)

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of site assets
* Work closely with production teams to maximise utilisation of equipment
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance via the CMMS system, Holistech
* Respond to breakdowns using structured fault-finding techniques
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with SOPs and legislation
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
* Drive efficiency, energy awareness and cost-effective solutions
* Complete all relevant statutory and maintenance documentation

Requirements:
* Mechanical engineering background with hands on industrial experience
* Apprentice trained to NVQ Level 3
* Experience working within a manufacturing or process environment
* Proven fault finding and breakdown response skills
* Understanding of health and safety legislation and responsibilities
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Highly motivated and supportive team player
* Able to work independently without immediate supervision
* Open to further personal development in line with the company training plan
