We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Installation & Maintenance Engineers to join our client's team in Newark.
Permanent positions.
There will be working from home involved so must be comfortable with this.
Rate of pay is between £15.00-£20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm, with variations depending on site requirements
Our client undertakes a wide range of mechanical installation and maintenance projects, with the majority of work carried out on customer sites.
We are interested in speaking with mechanically skilled candidates who have experience in industrial installation, maintenance, mechanical fitting or similar engineering environments.
Duties will include:
* Mechanical installation and maintenance work.
* Installation, servicing and repair of mechanical equipment.
* Working on industrial sites and engineering projects.
* Mechanical fitting and assembly.
* Assisting with planned and reactive maintenance.
* Working alongside electrical engineers and other site personnel.
Requirements:
* Previous mechanical fitting, installation or maintenance experience.
* Good practical mechanical engineering skills.
* Ability to work on customer sites.
* Willingness to work away when required.
* Site certifications such as CSCS, IPAF, Confined Space, IOSH, NPORS and Working at Height are desirable but not essential.
* Relevant qualifications are advantageous, but practical experience and a willingness to learn are equally important.
When working away from home:
* Accommodation provided when working away.
* Additional £20 per night when working away.
* £25 daily food allowance when working away.
* Regular opportunities for weekend and overnight work.
