We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary is £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
This will be working Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday 8am to 3:30pm & Friday 8am to 12pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime.
* Diagnose electrical faults and repair industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, control panels, and PLC systems (not essential).
* Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
* Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades or new installations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an electrician in industry, particularly with machine maintenance.
* 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor controls.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations.
