
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to take ownership of the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. In this key role, you will lead the preparation of regular financial reports and annual accounts, while driving continuous improvements in our financial systems and processes. Working closely with the General Manager and operational teams, you'll analyze performance metrics and support strategic decision-making. This position reports to the Finance department at our headquarters in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial data.

Prepare consolidated financial reports every four weeks, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.

Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and balance sheet files, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
*
Contribute to finance-related projects and data analysis initiatives.
*
Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and administrative systems.
*
Collaborate with the General Manager and Operational Managers to analyze results and boost performance.
*
Manage and mentor a small finance team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
*
Act as a strategic financial partner to the General Manager, supporting business performance and decision-making.

Your Profile

Fully or part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a group finance environment.

Strong understanding of financial systems and a hands-on approach to learning new processes.
*
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage change effectively.
*
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

Must have the legal right to work in the UK
