We are looking for a Fettler for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Rate of pay is £14.00 per hour (for basic hours)
This will be working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing fabricated metal components to a high standard, removing excess material, weld spatter and sharp edges, and preparing products ready for the next stage of production.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience within a fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environment who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
* Fettling and finishing fabricated steel and metal components.
* Grinding, linishing and removing excess weld material.
* Removing sharp edges, burrs and weld spatter.
* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Preparing components to the required specification and quality standards.
* Inspecting finished components for defects and ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
* Reading and working from drawings and job specifications where required.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.
* Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
* Working closely with welders, fabricators and other members of the production team.
* Meeting production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality.
Must have previous experience with polishing stainless steel and fettling balustrade to a high standard
