Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:

We are looking for Fabricator Welders for a permanent position based with our client in Bradford

Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)

Rate of pay is £16.58 - £18.82 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)

This will be working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8am - 3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Proficient welding techniques (Mig/Mag, Tig).
* Interpret engineering drawings and apply fabrication or welding techniques.
* Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with engineering drawings.
* Must have a high mechanical aptitude and be able to use various mechanical hand / power tools and general engineering equipment.
* 3-5 years of proven experience in fabricating fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
* Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with supervisor's / team members
* Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications/Experience required:

* Apprentice trained or shop experienced Welder / Fabricator
* Certificates in welding preferred
* Good engineering knowledge
* The ability to understand engineering drawings
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects
* Ability to follow processes and procedure accurately
* A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures
* A good team player
* Willing to work overtime at short notice
* Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
* Attention to detail

NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
