We are looking for an Engineering Operative a permanent position based with our client in St Helens
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Rate of pay is £14.48 per hour for first 37.5 hours and £19.15 per hour after 37.5 hours
This will be working Monday to Thursday 8am -4:30pm and Friday 8am - 1:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with general engineering and workshop duties.
* Supporting production and manufacturing processes.
* Handling, moving and preparing engineering components and materials.
* Carrying out basic finishing duties, such as fettling, deburring and cleaning components, where required.
* Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
* Following health and safety procedures at all times.
* Working effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
* A practical, hands-on approach to work.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
