We are looking for a Electro/Mechanical Engineer for a contract based with our client in Barnsley.
This will last for several weeks.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Rate of pay is negotiable
Duties
* Maintain accurate records of build and repair work for industry safety regulations.
* Work with PLC Systems and electrical wiring.
* Installation of hydraulic cylinders & performing pressure testing.
* Wiring up hydraulic powerpacks according to electrical & Hydraulic schematics.
* Install electrical components such as relays, sensors, switches and control panels.
* Connect motors, pumps and valves to power and control circuits.
* Perform testing and troubleshooting of powerpack electrical systems.
* Identify and resolve faults in wiring or electrical control systems.
Requirements:
* Experience and formal training in engineering capacities (Electro/Mechanical)
* Good knowledge and understanding of machinery/industrial equipment -electrical control systems/hydraulics/mechanical engineering (waste industry a plus)
* Strong communication skills
* Maintain high attention to detail
