We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Rotherham
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary is £47,957 per annum (dependent on experience)
The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency of our production machinery. You will handle a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and rapid reactive breakdown response.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults on automated manufacturing machinery.
* Execute planned maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.
* Work on PLC systems (fault finding and basic programming modifications).
* Maintain AC/DC drives, motors, sensors, and control panels.
* Collaborate with mechanical engineers to resolve multidisciplinary equipment issues.
* Uphold strict health and safety standards across the site at all times.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications: Level 3 electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or an approved apprenticeship).
* Experience: Proven track record in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.
* Technical Skills: Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities, including experience with PLCs and automated systems.
* Mindset: A proactive problem solver who works well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
