We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in the Kent area.
Immediate start available (Subject to the interview process)
Salary is £48,000 to £52,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Role/Responsibilities
* Extensive knowledge of Gas Safe compliance (IGEMS/British Standards)
* Extensive experience in Boiler/combustion servicing, fault identification and repair work across a variety of sectors including MET Police, the Private Sector & Schools
* Attendance to callouts during working hours and in addition, be part of the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
* Utilising our job management system, by completing and submitting clear concise, accurate reports for works carried out, further work required and gas compliance certification.
* Good communication to ensure regular communications with the FM helpdesk and Contract Manager on the relevant job progressions.
* Calorifiers inspection/de-scaling
* Valve maintenance.
* Legionella
* Training and technical assistance to other engineers
Skills Needed
* A minimum of COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, CCN1, CENWAT
* Knowledge of a variety of Commercial/Domestic appliances and maintenance
* Extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.
* Good all-around knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems & controls/BMS
* DBS Required CSCS Card (Gold and above)
* First Aid Trained (preferred but not required)
* PASMA and IPAF (preferred but not required)
* Full Clean Driver's License
