Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for CNC Miller/Turner Machinist for a permanent position based with our clients on Leeds

Immediate start available (subject to weld test)

Salary is up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This will be working 36.5 hours per week - 4 day working week.

Job Specification Day to Day:

* Responsible for setting and operating CNC mill and turning machines
* Ensure tight tolerances on a range of machinery
* Achieve manufacturing hours and deadlines to meet the customers' needs
* Completion of inspection using Renishaw probe and various hand measuring devices
* Adherence to all Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
* Ensure high levels of quality and workmanship are maintained
* Support other departments in the manufacture of products
* Carry out basic machine maintenance including metal working fluid checks and pre-use safety checks
* Complete paperwork to maintain complete traceability
* Work in line with the companies Quality manuals and MOD standards
* Edit CNC programmes using Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas control for machining centres

Essential Requirements

* Apprentice trained as minimum
* Competent using Heidenhein iTNC 640 & Hass G-code control system
* Various materials including carbon steel and stainless steel
* Manufacturing to engineering drawings
* CNC Milling and Turning machines
