We are looking for a CNC Machinist for a permanent position based with our client on Irvine.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary is £54,613.78 per annum per annum - inclusive of shift allowance
This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are Days - Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm, Night shift is Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
* Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship CNC Machining
* Experience of medium to heavy components, must be competent in setting & programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
* Experience of operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining centres or Mill Turns.
* Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
