We are looking for a Site Mechanical Chargehand for a permanent position based with our client the Rotherham.



Immediate star available (subject to interview process)



Rate of pay is £18.71 per hour (First 39 hours Monday to Friday)



Key Responsibilities

* Willingness to work away from home (inc. overnight)
* Liaising with customer, supplier and contractors' contacts
* Lead, guide and supervise a small team of workers to accomplish daily tasks and projects
* Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members according to their skills and competencies whilst completing own tasks
* Monitor the efficient use of resources such as materials, tools, and equipment
* Ensure that all team members are following company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
* Serve as a liaison between team members and management, relaying important information and updates
* Address concerns, conflicts, and issues within the team and escalate to higher management when necessary



Key Points

* Site Installation experience preferable
* Mechanical Fitter Experience is essential, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
* To be an Acceptor or equivalent to accept permits on customer sites
* Desire to run jobs and report to Site management
* Training given to be MEWP / TH driver
* Additional training will be provided to allow for successful integration into role where necessary
* Hold a full clean UK Driving Licence
