We are looking for Shift Production Maintenance Engineers at our client's West Yorkshire site in Knottingley.

Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader the main purpose of the role will be to provide on-going and continuous support to shift operations, ensuring that manufactured ware meets customer quality standards, through the accurate and prompt set up of line and inspection equipment.

Duties will include attending to and resolving equipment breakdowns in a timely manner, as well as the delivery of PPM schedules. With an average of three machine change overs per day you may also be required to support the day team in this area, as factory focus is ultimately to ensure optimum efficiency at all times.

Suitable candidates should be both enthusiastic and committed, and have a can-do, pro-active approach to work. In addition, an NVQ in an electrical discipline would be favourable, however, not essential.

The hours of work for this position are based around a 5-crew shift rota working 4 on and 4 off (12-hour days and night shifts), with 5 paid 18 day breaks off per year.
