We are looking for Senior Project Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Blackburn.
Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)
Salary is £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for people with a strong Mechanical / Electrical background and there would be a mixture of internal and external training.
External examples of training would be CAD training and CNC programming and Operation as required.
Responsibilities:
* Production of technical and QA documentation to underpin the equipment manufactured.
* Produce innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
* Have due regard to legislation, British Standards
* Liaise with the client on designs.
* Carry out stress analysis, including hand calculations.
* Fully cost designs and produce a bill of materials.
* Offer project support in terms of collating and presenting documentation.
* Troubleshoot production problems.
* Produce system layouts and module assemblies.
* Work alongside the production team to ensure a successful delivery.
This will be mostly working on site.
Flexibility in regards to start and finish times could be considered for the successful candidate.
