We are supporting a leading contracting business in the search for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Technical Services team. This is a permanent role, primarily based between Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

Role Overview:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide expert mechanical design and technical support across a range of projects. You will work closely with clients and project teams to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with design intent. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing strong client relationships and providing trusted technical advice.
* Assisting with the assessment of new projects and supporting fee proposals.
* Producing, reviewing, and approving mechanical working drawings and technical submittals from Stage 5 onwards.
* Carrying out mechanical calculations and delivering design solutions from initial brief to detailed design.
* Monitoring on-site construction work to ensure compliance with design standards and company quality requirements.
* Leading testing and commissioning activities, including ISTs and Black Building Tests.
* Conducting technical evaluations of existing buildings to inform short- and long-term mechanical strategies, including:
* Energy performance assessments
* Load and capacity reviews
* Life cycle replacement reports
* Single point of failure (SPOF) analysis
* Resiliency assessments
