We are looking for a Rigger for a months work on Drax Power Station.
Rate of pay is £19.00 per hour and working roughly 40 hours a week.
NO TRAVEL OR LODGE AVAILABLE.
Impact and Key Deliverables:
* Carrying out PPM and RCM as per site schedules
* Rigging, Slinging and Lifting activities across the contract
* Carrying out planned defect repairs on all mechanical equipment in the service delivery scope
* Attending, diagnosing, and agreeing repair processes for plant breakdowns
* Carrying out site operational tasks in accordance with training, site procedures and supervisor instructions
* Completing all necessary documents, reports and records.
* Working with the operational department to effectively carry out maintenance work.
* Providing an efficient and professional support service to the operational plant requirements
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and innovations
* Harmonisation with other teams and clients
* Providing full flexibility to carry out required operational duties.
* Collating, collaborating, and communicating the annual maintenance plan to all stakeholders (HIS and client)
* Understanding PLC control systems including inputs/outputs and the field-based transducers they are connected to
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Relevant qualifications and experience the ideal candidate will require.
* NVQ Level 3 in Moving Loads
* CCNSG Safety Passport
Key Competencies:
Essential personal attributes and behavioural traits the individual must possess.
* A strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines safely.
* Is self-motivated to identify improvements within our work area and takes action to implement these successfully.
