We are looking for MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position based with our client in Gainsborough.
Immediate start available (Subject to interview and weld test)
Rate of pay £16.35 per hour.
This will be working Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1am and Thursdays 2:30pm to 12:30am
You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to engineering drawings and company quality standards, working primarily with stainless steel and mild steel.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
* Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.
* Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
* Work effectively as part of a busy production team.
* Meet production targets while maintaining excellent workmanship.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude, reliability and excellent timekeeping.
* Willingness to work overtime when required.
NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
