We are looking for Manual Horizontal Borer Operators for permanent positions based with our client in Sheffield.

This is a permanent position working days (6am-4pm Monday - Thursday

Rate of pay:

Days rate: £20.00 per hour

Hours are Monday to Thursday 6 till 4pm.

Overtime after 4pm and on a Friday 6 till 1pm based at time ½.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Primarily operating, setting and programming Manual Horizontal Boring machines
* Modifying programs as and when required ensuring quality workmanship at all times
* Checking tool's dimensions and precision measuring instruments
* Working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met
* Adhering to Quality and HSE Standards and polices

Qualifications and Skills

* Previous Manual Horizontal Boring Experience
* Experience on Kearns and Richards Borers
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* A team player
* Organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work
* Understanding and appreciation of health and safety.
* Ability to use initiative
