We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our client's team based in Sheffield.
This is a permanent position.
Rate of pay is £15.00 per hour and overtime is paid at time and a half.
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding metal components to create high-quality products.
This will be general fabrication work and an ability to MIG and MMA weld is essential.
TIG welding experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components
- Weld metal parts using MIG and MMA welding techniques,
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
