We are looking for an Estimator for a permanent position based with our client in the York Area
Immediate start available (Subject to the interview process)
Salary is £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
The Role:
* Taking a job through from start to finish.
* Able to read drawings and extract information to produce a take-off of information to provide quotations.
* To Liaise with suppliers, designers, details.
* Quoting new tenders and estimates up to the value of £2.5m.
* To attend site meetings as and when required.
* Monitor progress/track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
* Preparing monthly applications for payment, through to agreeing final account with client,
* Monitoring/chasing outstanding retention with client.
* Dealing with annual statutory form filling CHAS, Insurance documents from clients etc.
