We are looking to an Engineering Estimator for a permanent based with our client on Sheffield.
Immediate start available (subject to interview)
Salary is £50,000 per annum (depending to experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Develop estimates at all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility and concept through to detailed design
* Lead on the development of estimating strategies and present to senior stakeholders both internal and external.
* Preparation of the detailed scope/drawings from drawings and specifications
* Prepare material/sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing
* Focus on value-engineering throughout the bid stage design process
* Contribute to the identification of risk and pricing of risks throughout bids
* Attend client meetings throughout the tender process where appropriate
* Work on tenders from first principles
* Present tenders at bid team meetings/client presentations
About you:
* Solid background as an estimator within the civil engineering industry
* Experience pricing tenders from first principles
