We are looking for an experienced Electrician's Mate for a long-term contract based on a Water Treatment Plant in Basingstoke.
Rate of Pay is £17.00 per hour (All hours worked Monday to Friday)
The Role
Working alongside qualified Industrial Electricians, you will assist with heavy industrial electrical installations, including:
* Assisting with the installation of cable containment systems
* Installing cable tray, trunking and ladder rack
* Cable pulling and glanding
* Assisting with the installation and termination of electrical equipment
* Working from engineering drawings and site plans
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on heavy industrial projects is essential.
* Experience working on water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
* ECS Card is essential.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Good understanding of electrical installation practices.
* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
* Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
* Evidence of relevant industrial experience must be clearly shown on your CV.
