Electrical Qualified Supervisor (Permanent) required for our electrical contracting client based in Central London. Must hold a full driver licence as van will be provided
£55,000 - £60,000 per annum
THE ROLE:
You will be a key member of the Electrical team with responsibility as the Qualified Electrical Supervisor (QS) for our NICEIC membership and supervising the quality and compliance of all electrical work to ensure it meets the necessary requirements.
You will undertake the role of 'Qualifying Supervisor' and liaise directly with the NICEIC, with responsibility for the monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
You will be directly involved with verifying all electricians' inspection and testing results in a timely manner to prevent invoicing delays ensuring that due care and attention is maintained when verifying these results to prevent any electrical issues.
Be available for any audit conducted by the NICEIC or annual assessments to ensure our membership remains.
Also oversee other Electrical Testing Engineers and carry ad hock testing where required.
Requirements:
You must be able to demonstrate a level of competency and understanding of the NICEIC standards required for an electrical qualified supervisor, with a knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and current BS7671 Building Regulations being beneficial.
Excellent communicator/experience of working with staff and contractors, with the ability to prioritise you work activities.
Effective problem solving and organisational skills
Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
City & Guilds 18th Edition
Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent
IT Skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and NICEIC Software
