We are looking for an Electrical Estimator for a permanent position based with our client in Halifax.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview)

Salary is £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This will be working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Estimating Core Competencies

* Practical Knowledge - Buildability
* Practical Knowledge of materials
* Ability to interpret and follow client specifications, including WIMES
* Ability to interpret and follow client drawings (civil and engineering etc)
* The use of varied schedules
* Statutory and non-statutory regulations such as:

* IEE Wiring Regulation
* Health and Safety at Work Act
* The Electricity at Work Regulations
* CDM Regulations
* COSHH
* Health and Safety Information including RAMS
* NICEIC rules
* Tax and VAT regulations

* Technical knowledge such as:

* Use of Trimble / Amtech ProDesign
* Cable Calculation / Discrimination Principles
* Principles of Lightning / Surge Protection
* Principles of Lighting / Emergency Lighting Design
* Basic Understanding of ATEX Requirements

* National Working Rules and Employment Law
* Labour Fit Times
* Working Within a Team (Liaising with Projects, Engineering & Site Electricians)
* Contract Type and Conditions
* Form of Tender Agreement
* Selection of Equipment
* Workload Management
