We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent position in Rotherham.
Salary is £45,000 per annum.
The main function of this role will be designing and testing electrical control panels.
Training will be given in commissioning and writing PLC software.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake all work activities safely, ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
* To always act in a professional manner to develop designs which are aligned with the principles, strategy and goals of the business and expectations of the customer.
* Work to timescales with a production system to allow projects to complete to plan.
* To review requirements documentation for each contract as it arises, ensuring that objectives and technical specifications are clearly defined and understood.
* Generate electrical schematics, bills of material and production documents.
* Where necessary, compile training manuals and facilitate Customer training session.
Ideally the successful candidate will:
* Have an understanding of PLC's and control systems.
* Have experience or understanding of defining and developing electrical systems for bespoke equipment.
Experience with E-Plan is desirable but experience with AutoCAD is essential.
