Dutton Recruitment have an exciting opportunity due to growth to recruit a Graduate Forecasting Analyst for our client in Doncaster.
You will assist the Senior Forecasting Analysts to ensure the Inventory & Forecasting team achieve the objectives required by the business.
Support process issue resolution and KPI reporting for the Inventory & Forecasting team and wider business as required, assist with reviewing and proposing strategies & policies in line with agreed frequencies to maintain delivery of business Inventory & availability targets.
Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
* Work with Customers and across both teams to understand Inventory Management systems & processes used by the business areas & customers.
* Understand the RMS2 processes in place and data available to assist with process reviews.
* Complete RPA, demand to date and forecast exception reviews.
* Complete Purchase Requisition reviews, depot min max reviews and order placement as required.
* Assist with reviews of RMS2 Inventory Policies (IP) and RPA settings to optimize workload, Inventory risk & service delivery.
* Provide a specialist resource for Data analysis & reporting.
* Assist with support to business bid opportunities with Inventory modelling, process solution proposals & implementation support.
* Work Customers or Customer facing teams to analyse & understand process & performance issues & contribute to proposals for strategies to resolve. Will require flexibility around working patterns to meet customer needs.
* Assist with review of Procurement processes & activities, particularly within Inventory & Forecasting to identify problems & waste, improve where possible including preparation & presentation of re-training.
* Assist with Surplus & Obsolete reviews as required.
Essential Criteria
* Knowledge of inventory management principles.
* Knowledge of data management and analysis techniques.
* Ability to communicate and confidently present at various levels.
* IT literate with excellent numeracy skills.
* Capable in the use of MS Office Suite, or Equivalent systems.
* Excellent problem solving skills, knowledge of problem solving tools.
* Good business and commercial awareness.
* Self-motivated.
