We are looking for a CNC Miller with experience with Heidenhain controls for an ongoing contract in Sheffield to start on Monday 11th March.
Rate of pay is £16.00 per hour, working Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.
Overhead Crane Licence is essential.
Candidates must be capable of manufacturing basic dimensioned parts and material re-sizing on a new state of the art Kiheung bed mill machine with 3 metre x-axis, 1.25 meter y-axis.
Requirements:
Must have capability to load, set-up and machine components to either dimensioned envelope for basic material re-sizing, or drawing.
Typical materials include alloy steels and stainless steels, occasionally nickel and cobalt base alloys.
Material inputs will be a combination of mill manufactured plate to be machined, and forged sections such as square profiles and rectangular profiles.
Typical tolerances to 0.5 - 1.0 mm required.
