Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for a CNC Heidenhain Miller/Programmer for a permanent position based with our client in Huddersfield.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process)

Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
* Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and workholding devices
* Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
* Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
* Inspect finished products for accuracy

Qualifications:

* Previous experience as a CNC Miller or similar role
* Proficient to perform basic math calculations
* Familiarity with tooling, power tools, and hand tools used in machining operations
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software for reading and interpreting technical drawings would be beneficial
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
