We are looking for an Air Conditioning Technical Service Engineer for a permanent position for a client based in Barnsley.
The work involved will vary from general maintenance PPMs, repairs, diagnosis and service remedial actions as well as assisting with other teams within the company.
The candidate would be employed as a Service Engineer and would be working for the Service and Technical Department and would need good technical fault finding and good customer care skills.
Our client's service work is carried out to a high standard and you will be expected to be able to identify and carry out the appropriate servicing works, assess potential issues and formulate their remedial actions to a good standard.
The work includes but is not limited to the servicing and installation of:
* Mainly Air Conditioning systems from single split to large VRV/VRF installations
* All aspects of Ventilation Systems of all sizes
* Walk in fridges and freezers
* Water to Water Chillers from 3kw to 3000kw!
* Air Source Heat Pumps
* Ground Source Heat Pumps
* Commercial Heating Systems
* Process Cooling systems
Some of these items you will be given extra training on if required but a working knowledge of refrigeration systems will be required.
Package for the right candidate:
* Between £12 and £15.00 per hour depending on abilities/experience
* 40 hours basic minimum contract.
* Overtime after 40 Hours @1.5x rate
* Saturday @1.5x rate
* Sundays @2x rate
* Company Vehicle
* iPad Mini for work reporting
* Company Phone (or bill subsidy if preferred)
* Specialist and Power tools provided.
