Applicants must have a good understanding / experience in M&E and Construction.
Assist in lead Finance function of company
Responsible for Financial management and reporting
Accountable for Audit and all HMRC matters
Responsible for VAT completion and CIS reporting#
Payroll supervisory duty
Responsible for improving overall cash collection as well as responsible for all financial planning, analysis and reporting for the company
Control and posting all bank transactions
Carry out monthly bank statement reconciliations
Complete quarterly VAT returns and payments
Oversee the allocation of cash received and uploaded into the financial system
Complete various month end journals
Carry out balance sheet control account reconciliations
Assist with cash forecasting and supply chain payment management
Assist with year-end requirements
Provide cover for purchase ledger payments, subcontract payments and the raising of sales invoices
Contribute to the improvement of processes
Understand and respond to the needs of customers, team members, colleagues and
Raise issues and concerns constructively and offer solutions
Adopt and improve current business working methods
Month end and statutory deadlines
Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA qualified
As Account Manager you should have the following:
Strong organisational skills.
A professional persona with strong customer service skills.
3 years, or longer, experience of Finance Manager or similar role
A strong understanding of tax & HMRC
A flexible approach to working hours
A strong commercial acumen
An ability to work and lead others when under pressure.
A solid understanding of M&E and Construction
Procurement experience.
Produce summary financial and commercial data on a regular basis in accordance with the business needs.
