Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are currently looking for welders (6G or 6GR) for immediate starts in Wallsend. This is contract work until 2025. Day shifts and back shifts available. This will be working 42 hours per week. The first 38 hours paid at basic and 4 paid at weekday overtime rate. All the below rates are PAYE.

Rates:
Dayshift:
£21.50 per hour for first 38 hours.

Weekday Overtime (after 38 hours) £23.65 per hour

Saturday Overtime: £32.25 per hour

Sunday £43.00 per hour

Backshift:
£23.59 per hour (first 38 hours)

Weekday Overtime £25.95 per hour (after 38 hours)

Saturday Overtime £35.39 per hour

Sunday £47.18 per hour

Weekend Overtime available

The below applies if workers live 60 or more miles away:
1. Productive Welding Bonus
£4.50 per hour, payable for all hours worked (when in attendance, and working)
Does not include holiday / leave / sickness, only productive hours worked.

Paid at the weekly payroll run at the end of each calendar month.
Must be in employment, and on shift (not sick or AWOL), when the payroll run takes place otherwise no payment will be made.

2. Subsistence
£30 per day subsistence allowance.

When 5 days are worked, this will be payable for 7 days.

When less than 5 days are worked, allowance will be paid per day worked.
Not paid for periods of holiday / sickness.

To qualify for this, a worker needs to work a full shift, clocking in late, clocking out early or leaving site without authorisation excludes them from eligibility.

Subsistence allowance is taxable.

Testing required even with in date certs

**TEST - (2G Full pen plate test Metalcore) & a (6GR Pipe test Metalcore root Fluxcore Fill & cap), if successful then will do x3 fillet tests also.
