Pipefitter Welders for 12 months work in Peterborough to start in October 2018.
We are looking for qualified Pipefitter Welders for work on both carbon and stainless from half an inch to ten-inch pipework.
This is an excellent opportunity for long term work as the project is due to last at least 12 months, which would make this an ideal role for qualified and experienced Pipefitter Welders who are looking for a long-term contract.
The work involved will be the installation, fabrication and welding of new pipework on a new build commericial processing plant which will be manufacturing leather.
This will include the pipework that will carry the solution into the tanks which will manufacture the leather and also installing all other associated pipework within the new build commercial property.
The welding processes will be TIG and MMA welding, current or previous coding's in TIG and ASME IX would be advantageous as the welding will be on carbon and stainless.
Qualifications:
An in date CSCS/ACE Card is essential and full trade papers are required to be sent over before commencing these positions.
Other qualifications such as IPAF, Working at Heights, Confined Space, PASMA would be advantageous.
There is no travel or lodge available on these positions
Rate of pay:
Rate of pay is £16.23 per hour for basic hours and £24.35 per hour for overtime during the week and Saturdays.
A typical working week is 12 hours a day Monday to Friday and 8 hours on Saturday.
