We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor for a permanent position for our client based in Doncaster and on various sites throughout the UK.

Immediate start available (Subject to the interview process)

Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.

Health & Safety Advisor role & responsibilities:

* Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace environment and compliance with safety policies and regulations of an organization.
* Conducting risk assessments.
* Demonstrating safe operational procedures.
* Conducting site inspections.
* Developing health and safety policies.
* Incident and accident Investigation.
* Monitoring workplace health and safety hazards.
* Training employees on health and safety procedures.
* Communicating with other departments within the company regarding safety issues that may affect them.
* To drive the continuous improvement of Health and Safety on site
* Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
* Finding practical solutions to issues that may arise on site.
* Work well in a team and on own initiative.
* To maintain a smart appearance and to act in a professional manner at all times when representing our client.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
* Strong IT skills.
* Construction experience.
* NEBOSH General /Construction Certificate.
* 4 years' experience in a similar role.
