Class 2 Drivers (MOFFETT/HIAB) required for our established builders merchant client based in East London.
Full time temporary.
£18 per hour umbrella, 42.5hours per week.
THE ROLE:
Our client is the UK's leading distributor of interior building products to professionals within the construction industry. They now have several opportunities for temporary Class 2 Drivers with either Moffett/Hiab, or straight class 2 drivers. Initially ongoing full-time hours temporary, but with a view of going permanent to those committed drivers.
Drivers are responsible for moving stock (mainly plasterboard and insulation products) in a safe and professional manner from different branches to the customers. The vehicles are equipped with MOFFETT truck mounted forklifts which are used by the drivers to safely and efficiently load and unload our products. There is no need for applicants to have a MOFFETT qualification, as the client will invest in your training to ensure you're equipped for the job. You will be performing multi-drop work, returning back to the branch at least once to reload for your next run.
Applicants will have a Category C driving licence, up to date Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) records and recent driving experience. You'll be confident in dealing with customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones. The successful candidate will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner. Our client will need drivers who will be passionate about what they do in delivering first class service for their customers. Please Note: All documentation must be current and up to date.
