Job Title: Welder
Location: Huthwaite
Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager
Responsible for welding fabrications to agreed quality specifications and within times allowed.
These requirements will be achieved through co-operation with Platers, semi-skilled operatives and Inspection personnel.
From time to time the Welder may be a team member under the supervision of a Working Foreman or Chargehand.
Main Duties:-
* Tack assembly of fabricated structures.
* Production of welds in accordance with ASME IX BSEN287-1.
* Understanding of Engineering Drawings.
* Understanding of Weld Procedures and material weldability issues.
* Use of Dye Penetrant NDT equipment
* Set and Operate: -
MMA, MIG, TIG and FCAW Welding Equipment
Common measuring equipment
Plasma and Oxy-fuel cutting equipment
Portable grinding equipment
