Dutton Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced, dedicated and passionate support workers to work in a state of the art service in Rotherham. This service specialises in providing residential support to adults of varying ages with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour. Some of the clients have additional health needs, some access education, but the role of the support worker is to follow each service users individual support plans and support them as an individual. You will be involved in support in the community i.e. going bowling, cinema, meals out, attending doctors appointments etc but also involved in support within the service. You will need to have over 6 months recent paid experience within the learning disabilties and challenging behaviour sector and hold an indate MAPA or PMVA certificate. Some of the clients are very challenging and have to have 3 to 1 support at times. The role is very challenging but rewarding and its an exciting opportunity to make the most of.

The work will be starting asap and interviews are available immediately for the right candidates. There will be a variety of shifts available ranging from 8-3, 3-10pm, long days and the odd night shift. Apply straight away!
