QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Relevant qualification whether degree, HNC, or NVQ in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential).
* Good general education essential
* Two or three years experience within a contracting/subcontracting environment
* A good understanding of electrical systems is preferred but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop full understanding of the Contract / Sub Contract process
* Ensure applications for payment are accurate and submitted on time
* Manage cost control on all contracts
* Remain involved in the development of business to build on client relationships
MAIN TASKS:
* Preparation of applications for payment
* Deal with contractual queries and difficulties, respond to contractual letters
* Prepare and submit contractual claims
* Chase payment within terms of contract and pursue aged debt
* Negotiate agreement of final account
* Maintain regular client contact to build on long term relationships
* Strive to improve the quality of service provided to the Company's customers by identifying and proposing developments and amendments to systems used
* Take responsibility for own personal health and safety and impact on the environment
£45,000-£55,000 ANNUAL SALARY
