
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager
Docklands (Covering Sites Across UK)
£80k (DOE and suitability)
Our client is currently recruiting for a Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager, preferably someone that comes from an engineering background to help our client build a positive H&S culture within the organisation. The ideal candidate must have NEBOSH qualifications and have a few years practical experience. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator with our clients differing departments/services and really drive home the importance of H&S to everyone across the organisation. Our client acts as Principal Contractor on the vast majority of their projects therefore someone with this experience is critical. They are looking for someone who will spend 3-4 days a week on sites across the UK building relationships internally and with clients alike. The remaining days the candidate will be office based in Canary Wharf/Greenwich and home working to produce concise reports, develop processes, and work on the training of all of our client's staff.
The Role:
Working on multiple sites across the UK, building relationships with site teams
Carry out site induction, audits and inspections when required
Investigate any accidents or near misses
Working closely with the QHSE Director in the implementation of the QHSE strategy
Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the organisation
The Candidate:
5 years' previous experience in similar role
NEBOSH Diploma
Ideally come from an engineering background
Must be happy to travel across UK
