A Project Engineer for a permanent position for a client based in Sheffield.

Immediate start available.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced degree qualified engineer to support on a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects which take place across the UK.

This will be working with a client who specialise in structural movement projects.

The successful candidate will work on projects ranging in value, managing the full project lifecycle from ground investigation through to project completion.

The Candidate

* Degree qualified in a mechanical or civil discipline and have project experience within a mechanical or civil environment

* Have design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber
* Have experience in managing your own workload
* Represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
* Have a full driving licence and have their own transport

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

* Project/Sales hand over
* Project Kick off
* Customer liaison and management
* Identification and co-ordination of variations in contract with customers and suppliers
* Contract review
* Engineering design e.g. material selection, sizing, etc.
* Procurement, supplier management and expediting
* Design review
* Creation of A4 engineering documentation
* Checking/Approving engineering drawings
* Logistics

The successful candidate will also be responsible for full RAMS (risk assessments, method statements etc)

There will be the occasional site visit involved.

Salary is £30,000 per annum.
