We currently require a Plater for a permanent position in Nottingham.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
This will be working with a client who work within the heat treatment industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of fabrications to agreed quality specifications and within times allowed.
In achieving these requirements, the Plater will supervise welders and semi-skilled operatives (while under Plater's control) and liaise with inspection personnel.
Main Duties:
* Check and produce cutting lists.
* Production of fabrications from engineering drawings.
* Produce pattern developments and templates, as necessary.
* Manufacture jigs, fixtures, and tooling to suit production.
* Use of tools to measure work and check work.
Ability to read from engineering drawings is essential.
Rate of pay is £13.58 per hour, potentially going up by 2.5% on successful completion of probation.
