
Low Code Developer required for our local authority client based in Haringey
Pay: £185 P/D
Hours: 37 P/W
Contract Length: 6 Months - Likely Extended
THE ROLE: We are looking for someone to join us, as a Low Code/No Code Developer.
This role is in Digital Services | Portfolio Service - working within one of the high profile programmes run by a fantastic programme manager who reports directly to the Head of Service. The successful candidate will work in a close and supportive team, and help develop our Portfolio Management tool on Monday.com, as well as dev other service workflow and automation and potentially also dev in Microsoft PowerApps. The individual will also support low code development for our Digital Together savings programme. We're looking for someone with digital savvy, the determination and talent to learn on the job - fully supported - and a desire to make a difference. In return, we can promise you fun but focused working environment - working almost entirely from home. Ideally, the candidate will be able to utilise their own devices as BYOD, at least to start, but this is not essential.
To provide professional support that facilitates the delivery of frontline services and the council priorities.
Ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient service within required timescales and in line with corporate and service policies and operating guidelines, working in partnership with services to ensure that any risks, issues, or opportunities are identified and quickly addressed and championing continuous improvement to ensure that services are efficient as possible.
You will be responsible for delivering, the full menu of business activities defined by the operating model to ensure the effective operation of the service.
This includes Data entry to council systems.
Providing effective business support to meet the statutory and operational requirements.
Being aware of policies, procedures and statutory legislation that impacts your role.
Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council's Policies and Procedures.
Liaise effectively, professionally, and co-operatively with staff.
Provide cover for colleagues and undertake any other work assigned consistent with the duties and responsibilities of an agile workforce.
Maintain accurate and effective communication with line management ensuring that they are regularly appraised of planned changes and developments
Actively support continuous improvement by identifying service issues, threats, and opportunities/improvements.

* High attention to detail
* Confidence with technology and fast learner
* Experience in providing excellent business support functions ideally in a complex or regulated environment delivering high-quality services
* Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to enter, collate, compile, and distribute information consistently and effectively using a variety of methods best suited to meeting client outcomes
* Experience with IT systems and how they support service delivery.
* Experience in delivering service improvements through a programme of continuous improvement.
* Effectively working as part of a team.
Knowledge/Skills
* Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience using a no-code solution platform e.g., Monday.com
* Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform e.g., MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps
* Familiarity with Project Methodologies would be an advantage e.g., PRINCE2, Agile
